hi! My name is Carrie. I am a wife and a mama of girls. Welcome to my story, as I stumble through this journey of marriage, motherhood and all the in betweens. It's messy and a little bit scattered, full of coffee dates and crazy hair days... but it's my life - my beautifully blessed story! Here I blog mostly about our family and our everyday life. I'm pretty simple... my husband is my person
and my girls are my world.

I'm a small town girl, born and raised on a farm in the Midwest. You will usually find me at home, with my little family, coffee cup in hand. I am so very gratefully blessed to share my life with the man of my dreams, our two beautiful girls & our 3 cats. I love God. I live to serve Him. I am His. He continues to show me His redeeming love. I learned awhile back that I'm living His story, not my own. My path hasn't always been the easiest, but even through the bumpiness of life, He would remind me that He put a desire in my heart long ago, when I was just a little girl. His promise to me began unfolding when I married the man of my dreams in 2010 and was finished to perfect completion when our sweet Hayden was born. Now I am blessed to live within that promise. I find myself in awe of His grace and ultimate provision for our family.

I graduated from Vanguard University in SoCal with a degree in education and a minor in psychology and theology. But, really... my whole life I just wanted to be a wife and mom. I currently stay home with our girls the majority of the time. I also work a few hours a week at our church, which I very much enjoy! I am also blessed and fortunate to serve on our women's ministry team at church with some of my very favorite women... ever. This is definitely another story, for another time, but God not only placed us in a church where we would connect and feel at home, but He also placed me in a church where I would connect, authentically connect, with many women who would become some of my best friends! If my life ended today, I would consider myself unbelievably blessed by the love I have experienced, the adventures I've been on and just the life I've lived. And that to me is success!
