another year; another blessing

"When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love." (Marcus Aurelius)

So thankful that God has blessed me with another year; this past year has been filled with so much adventure and so much joy!  I am looking forward to what the next year has in store for me and for us, as a family!
This year I was so blessed to be able to spend my Birthday with a lot of my favorite people! I consider myself very fortunate, as I was able to take the whole day off (love my job) and spend it with my husband.  We slept in..late..headed to Starbucks and then finished up our Christmas shopping (yes, GASP… FINISHED!).  He then took me out to AI for hibachi and sushi.  Later in the day I met my coworkers and boss at BJ’s for happy hour; yes that's correct, they gave me theday off and STILL wanted to celebrate with me (again so blessed to have coworkers and a boss who are becoming like family!).  To wrap up the night in style,  my amazing sister-in-law planned a girls night at Shuga’s, the cutest little coffee shop/bar downtown.  We spent the evening laughing and talking and laughing some more, all while sipping on our Spanish coffee and nibbling on our cheesecake…perfection
As I got home and snuggled into bed with the husband I couldn’t help but feel sofortunate and so loved! We have been in Colorado 8months…how blessed I am to have a life so full of amazing people! My birthday was just what my heart needed; my cup runith over.

....many more....

Words can't express how much I love this man; Instagram also celebrated my birthday with a fab update and this new filter, "willow"... thanks Instagram, haha ♥
Amazing Night-cap at Shuga's... love these girls!!! ♥

More Shuga's fabulousness!

And as if that weren't enough fun and excitement, last night we headed over to some dear friends' house for "sibling game night".  Us and our siblings (Matt and Leah ♥) and their siblings sipped on super yummy hot chocolate (seriously some of the best I've ever had) nibbled on yummy goodies, gathered by the cozy fireplace, and played everything from Christmas charades to Wits and Wagers.  It was a fantastic night! I can't wait for the rest of the wonderfulness December has in store!
