Falling Leaves & Crisp Air

My goal for our first fall was to take it in. Do everything possible that represented fall to me.  One of those was planting bulbs.  I had mentioned this to my oh so wonderfully amazing husband, who took this idea and ran with it! He brought me home ONE HUNDRED BULBS to plant!!! He then dug me one big trench in our front yard to plant them all in! It was wonderful!! We spent a sunny fall Sunday afternoon playing in the dirt and taking part of one of my favorite fall traditions! I cannot wait until spring to see all these amazing tulips bloom!
The beauty of a Colorado fall so far can only be rivaled with the first snow fall! It was majestically breathtaking! I have genuinely missed having the traditional seasons. They make life so fun!...very parallel to our seasons in life; where would we be without them!

"There is a time for everything, & a season for every purpose under the heavens."  Ecclesiastes 3:1

Family fun is by far one of the greatest things about fall.  Its still warm enough to be outside, the sun is still shinning, yet there's a different crispness in the air, the kind that makes you want to be outside enjoying it, playing in the leaves.  We were fortunate enough to enjoy a beautiful sunny, fall Sunday with our family and extended family....
